Thanks to the accessories included in the shipment, it can be connected to standard household waterpipes.  First, the tap water passes through a fine filter (1 micro pore in width) and a carbon filter and is pre-filtered. It then passes through an ultrafine special membrane (0.0001 micron), which only allows through the smallest water molecules and thus filters out up to 99% of the pollutants.
