The revolutionary seawater concentrate that allows you to create seawater in seconds – ideal for water changes and new setupsATI® Absolute Ocean is a revolutionary 8.3x seawater concentrate. It is ideal for water changes or new setups and, after the Pro salt mixes, represents the next evolution in the production of artificial seawater. Absolute Ocean offers unmatched advantages in terms of accuracy, purity, and homogeneity compared to other applications: Just like natural seawater: High-precision ICP laboratory measurements ensure that all major and trace elements are precisely adjusted to make Absolute Ocean virtually identical to natural seawater. Even the lowest trace element concentrations in ppb (parts per billion) range, such as vanadium, are adjusted to near-natural levels. The following table shows a comparison of Absolute Ocean with natural seawater (at 35 PSU): width=201 Parameter width=201 Natural Seawater width=201 ATI® Absolute Ocean width=201 Alkalinity width=201 7 °dKH width=201 7,5 °dKH ± 0,2 width=201 pH width=201 8,2 width=201 8,2 ± 0,2 width=201 Chloride width=201 19.800 mg/l width=201 19.800 mg/l ± 1,5% width=201 Magnesium width=201 1.313 mg/l width=201 1.313 mg/l ± 1,5% width=201 Sulfur width=201 925 mg/l width=201 925 mg/l ± 1,5% width=201 Calcium width=201 421 mg/l width=201 421 mg/l ± 1,5% width=201 Potassium width=201 408 mg/l width=201 408 mg/l ± 1,5% width=201 Bromine width=201 68 mg/l width=201 68 mg/l ± 1,5% width=201 Strontium width=201 8,1 mg/l width=201 8,1 mg/l ± 2% width=201 Boron width=201 4,5 mg/l width=201 5 mg/l ± 2% width=201 Fluorine width=201 1,3 mg/l width=201 1,3 mg/l ± 2% width=201 Lithium width=201 172 μg/l width=201 172 μg/l ± 10 μg/l width=201 Rubidium width=201 120 μg/l width=201 120 μg/l ± 10 μg/l width=201 Iodine width=201 64 μg/l width=201 70 μg/l ± 4 μg/l width=201 Molybdenum width=201 10 μg/l width=201 10 μg/l ± 2 μg/l width=201 Barium width=201 8-10 μg/l width=201 12 μg/l ± 2 μg/l width=201 Phosphorus width=201 variabel width=201 10 μg/l width=201 Vanadium width=201 1,4 μg/l width=201 1,4 μg/l ± 0,4 μg/l width=201 Zinc width=201 0,4 – 2 μg/l width=201 1 μg/l ± 0,4 μg/l width=201 Nitrate width=201 1 mg/l width=201 0,1 mg/l width=201 Other Trace Elements width=201 1 mg/l width=201 0,1 mg/l Purity: Absolute Ocean is composed of pharmaceutically and analytically pure salts. It is therefore extremely pure and free from any impurities. Homogeneity: Due to its liquid and therefore completely homogeneous form, unwanted fluctuations, which can occur with salt mixes, are eliminated. ATI® Absolute Ocean is therefore superior to any conventional salt mix in terms of homogeneity. ICP quality controls: The production process is continuously monitored by the ATI® Lab. You can access the analysis of each batch via a QR code on the packaging and see the quality for yourself. Ready to use: Because Absolute Ocean is a liquid concentrate, there is no waiting time for the salt mix to dissolve. After appropriate dilution with reverse osmosis water, the prepared salt water is immediately clear and can be used directly. This saves time, and you can always produce fresh salt water in seconds. Proprietary recipe with only two starting solutions: The ATI® Absolute Ocean recipe with only two starting solutions is legally protected. Application: It is best to use reverse osmosis water at room temperature with a conductivity of less than 5 µS/cm. We recommend using a reverse osmosis system with DI resin (e.g. ATI® MB Pro). Absolute Ocean should be stored above 10°C (50°F). If stored below 10°C (50°F), crystals may form in Absolute Ocean #1. Before use, the crystals should be dissolved by gently heating them to approximately 45°C / 115°F (e.g. in a warm water bath).
